Why Lab Testing?

At Regen IV Wellness, we use functional medicine lab testing to address any imbalances in the body such as gut microbiome, hormones, thyroid, hidden inflammation, hidden underlying infections, toxic burden, nutrient deficiencies, or food sensitivities.

Our team of registered nurses and nurse practitioners create a customized plan to address root causes to optimize your health. Our goal is to empower you to know exactly what your body needs to achieve true health, instead of following a cookie-cutter plan.

With functional medicine lab testing, we get to the root cause of acute and chronic issues. Oftentimes, doctors only address acute and chronic issues by treating the symptoms by prescribing medications that cover up the problem instead of reveal it. This results in not only prolonging an ailment, but creating additional issues and side effects.

Consulting with you on your symptoms and concerns in combination with your lab results, we can help you on the road to living your best life by achieving TRUE health.

Regen IV Wellness works with multiple functional medicine lab companies to ensure all testing is completed with the highest standard of care and analysis.

“In addition to single-gene genetic disorders, there are just five causes of all disease: Poor diet, chronic stress, microbes, toxins, and allergens, all of which wash over our DNA causing changes in our gene expression, and turning off or on different genes and messages that affect our metabolism.”

- Dr. Mark Hyman: Internationally Recognized Functional Medicine Doctor

Basic Lab Testing

Our basic labs provide us a general big picture of your overall health. Starting with these labs, we can get a baseline for your current health conditions, any underlying issues, and point us to further testing. These basic labs also give us a starting point to track your overall health progress as you work toward your goals.

Complete Blood Count

This test can help determine general health status, screen for potential disorders, and analyze nutritional status.

Complete Metabolic Panel

This test measures glucose, sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, carbon dioxide, blood urea nitrogen and creatinine which can help determine blood sugar level, electrolyte and fluid balance as well as kidney function.

Thyroid Panel

This test screens and monitors the function of the thyroid to help evaluate thyroid gland function and diagnose thyroid disorders.

Liver Panel

This tests the total protein, albumin, bilirubin, and liver enzymes that can indicate liver damage or disease is present.

HA1C

This tests for glucose in the blood to help diagnose and monitor diabetes.

Urine analysis

This is a general screening test used to check for signs of disease.

Specialty Lab Testing

In order to really get to the root of most issues, further lab testing is necessary. Regen IV Wellness has you covered. We offer an extensive variety of specialty lab testing to dive deeper into solving the root cause of your common ailments. Knowing EXACTLY where your issues lie help us create a hyper-focused, customized treatment plan to help you get back to feeling your best.

Food Sensitivity Testing

Food sensitivities aren't just limited to allergens. Many people are sensitive to foods and don't experience the extreme allergic reactions we are familiar with. Oftentimes, food sensitivity symptoms develop overtime and frequent consumption. Symptoms include common ailments such as gastrointestinal issues, brain fog, headache, fatigue, skin issues and more. We offer comprehensive food sensitivity testing to address more than 200 foods.

Heavy Metals Testing

Heavy metals toxicity is believed to affect over 1 million people annually. Heavy metals accumulate in all regions of the US in air, soil, and drinking water. Some regions, professions, and activities are at greater risk or heavy metal toxicity. The WHO considers 13 heavy metals to be significant in human and environmental health including arsenic, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper mercury, manganese, nickel, lead, tin, titanium, and more. Symptoms of heavy metals toxicity include issues such as neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, dermatological, reproductive, among others.

Toxins and Mold Testing

Mycotoxins and mold toxicity can occur from consuming spoiled food, coming in contact with environmental sources, airborne, water damaged buildings, or physical contact with outdoor mold and mold spores. Often, symptoms are vague and mimic those of common diseases, so diagnosis is commonly overlooked. Mycotoxins complicate human health in a number of ways, and their presence in the human body can lead to a number of serious health concerns including autoimmune disease and cancer.

Gut & GI Testing

Leaky gut is a condition where the intestinal lining is broken down which allows intestinal contents to enter the blood stream. Many health conditions are associated with leaky gut including IBS, food sensitivities, anxiety, depression, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, nutrient deficiencies, and autoimmune diseases.

Biological Age Testing

Discover How Old You REALLY Are with TruAge™. Everyone knows their chronological age. Chronological age is the number of candles that are on top of your cake and the birthdays you celebrate (or sometimes don’t!). However, developments in science have created another measurement of age called biologic or epigenetic age. Unlike chronological age, this measurement of age is based on years of statistical research and provides much more relevant health information. Your biological age is more accurate at predicting health span (how healthy you are) and lifespan (how long you will live) than any previous molecular biomarker, and can be correlated to almost any health factor such as physical fitness, socioeconomic status, and drug use history.

Micronutrient Testing

Micronutrient testing reveals nutritional imbalances or inadequacies. It evaluates the functional need for antioxidants, B-vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids, digestive support, and other select nutrients. This nutritional analysis offers insight into nutrient status and allows us to provide targeted treatment for your particular needs which often augments and speeds recovery of complex chronic conditions.

Hormone Testing

Hormones: The key to vitality and sex drive. Aging hormones play a powerful role in the body's regulatory system. Proper hormonal balance is essential to maintain optimal health and play a crucial role in how you feel. Testosterone, for example, enhances sex drive, strengthens bone and muscle tissue, and reduces fat production. In addition, it is a natural energy booster that protects against the onset of depression and heart disease. Other hormonal deficiencies or excesses affect sleep, metabolism, and the ability to fight disease. Throughout life, and particularly during middle age. Diving deeper into your hormone production provides important insights to help maintain a health and vigorous life. Click HERE to learn more about our hormone replacement therapy services.
