Since the beginning of the COVID era, Regen IV Wellness has not only treated sick patients, but has also created successful treatment plans that have continued to be used throughout the last two years. While there were many unknown factors in regards to COVID-19 at the beginning of the pandemic and no known treatment plans, Regen IV Wellness was able to provide Ozone Therapy to their patients who saw significant improvement and quicker recovery times. At the beginning, Regen IV Wellness had a physician who visited the clinic seeking treatment for COVID-19. The patient was also diagnosed with flu and strep and asked to be treated with Ozone Therapy and Vitamin C. Within 5 treatments spread out over 10 days, the patient was able to fully recover. Since then, we have treated over 1,000 patients with COVID-19 with Ozone Therapy and over 2,200 patients with Ozone Therapy for a variety of other indications. How Does It Work?In this therapy, medical-grade ozone, which is a mixture of oxygen and ozone, is introduced into the body intravenously. This, in turn, helps to stimulate the body’s immune system and helps to fight the COVID infection. In a clinical trial conducted in 2020, ozone therapy showed a recovery rate of 77 percent within 5 days and all patients having recovered by the 8th day. Ozone therapy has also been found to be equally effective in helping with post-COVID treatment. This allows the patient to regain strength and get relief from continued symptoms including fatigue and shortness of breath. The continued enhancement of their immunity helps the patient’s body rebuild antioxidants. COVID Treatment and Variant TestingDue to the FDA’s rescinding of the emergency use authorization of Bamlanivimab/Etesevimab and Regeneron monoclonal antibodies, we are no longer requiring PCR variant testing for the use of monoclonal antibodies. Regardless of the COVID-19 variant, the use of Ozone, DMSO, High-Dose Vitamin C, High-Dose Supplement regimens and oral medications are still 99% effective treatment options.
Request your appointment here for an Ozone Therapy treatment if you have been diagnosed and experiencing symptoms due to COVID-19. As COVID continues to be a dominant force in our community, Regen IV Wellness also continues to rely on research and our own experiences to manage our COVID protocol treatment that is provided to patients who come in testing positive. With the development of new variants of the virus, it has become clear that certain variants respond to specific treatments differently than others. With this, we have made some updates to our COVID protocol treatment plans specifically based on which variant our patients are diagnosed with. Original COVID-19 VirusFor patients at Regen IV Wellness that test positive for the original COVID-19 virus, we continue to recommend our traditional treatment plan. This includes Ozone Therapy, High-Dose Vitamin C Therapy along with the Regeneron Monoclonal Antibody COVID Infusion and best evidence-based medication and supplement regimen. Shown to be highly effective in the early stages of COVID-19 exposure in preventing worsening symptoms and hospitalization, we have seen great results in our clients that have undergone this combination of treatments. Delta VariantDuring the summer of 2021, we saw a spike in cases with the Delta variant. The Delta variant is more than 2 times as contagious as previous variants, and some data suggest the variant might cause more severe illness than previous variants in unvaccinated people. With the Delta variant, research has shown that Bamlanivimab is more effective in treating this variant compared to other antibody drugs. When there’s a virus in your body, like COVID-19, your immune system makes antibodies to fight it off. But it takes time for your body to make antibodies for a new virus — and in the meantime, you could get very sick. With this treatment, data shows a decrease in the severity of sickness and reduced risk of hospitalization. Omicron and Other VariantsThe Omicron variant spreads more easily than the original COVID-19 virus, yet it remains unknown how easily Omicron spreads compared to Delta. The CDC expects that anyone with Omicron infection can spread the virus to others, even if they are vaccinated or don’t have symptoms. With the emergence of Omicron, Regen IV Wellness has included Sotrovimab as part of our treatment plan. Sotrovimab is an engineered human monoclonal antibody that research shows to be more effective in treating the Omicron variant specifically in patients with mild to moderate symptoms. Regen IV Wellness also continues to use our proprietary protocol Ozone Treatment as well as oral medication and high dose supplement regimen that is effective for all COVID-19 variants.
At Regen IV Wellness, we have the ability to test which variant you have with our partnership with Magnolia Diagnostics for those that are interested in receiving any of the monoclonal antibodies that we have listed above. We all know the seriousness of COVID-19, and with variants of the virus popping up every few months, it is important for us to do everything we can to boost our immune systems and get our health in top shape. However, there are many individuals that have experienced first-hand the long-term stress, pain, and symptoms of COVID-19. At Regen IV Wellness we are here to help! We have been working hard to create treatment plans for our clients with long-haul symptoms, and we are excited to announce a new treatment that combines the benefits of our signature modified Myer’s Cocktail with NAD+ a critical coenzyme that is found in every cell in your body. What is the Myerās Cocktail? The Myer’s Cocktail was the brainchild of Baltimore physician John Myers, who in the 1960s began using intravenous injections of nutrients to treat many chronic conditions. This IV treatment has many amazing vitamins and nutrients and with our modified version, we have maximized its benefits with the right combination.
What is NAD+ and How Does It Help With COVID-19 Long-Haulers?NAD+, or Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is one of the most important coenzymes that your body has and is a key player in your body’s metabolism. Studies have been performed since the advent of COVID-19 that show that people that suffer with long-term COVID-19 symptoms may have a NAD+ deficiency. As a result, including NAD+ with our modified Myer’s Cocktail has shown to help our clients improve their recovery and energy levels.

The second step in helping our clients with COVID-19 is in the testing for the virus. Before COVID-19, many times when we had a sore throat or a cough it would not concern anyone in the slightest. However, these symptoms are now first-stage signs of the virus, so proper testing and results are key in the treatment protocols. At Regen, we are now offering COVID-19 nasal swabs and advanced serology-based antibody testing for all of our clients. The Nasal Swab Polymerase Chain Reaction test or PCR test identifies a specific type of nucleic acid found in our body that is unique to COVID-19. If you are worried you have been exposed or developing worrying symptoms. Please come in so we can assist in the diagnosis. In addition to the PCR test, we offer antibody testing to show past exposure, which can be vital in tracking the virus but also in determining your own treatment plan moving forward in the future. The final step in slowing the spread and danger of Coronavirus is to treat our clients when they test positive for the virus. The anxiety and stress caused during early detection can be overwhelming, but we are here to help! We are proud to do our part in ending the threat of COVID-19, and we have added the FDA approved Regeneron Monoclonal Antibody COVID infusion treatment to our arsenal of services. Here at Regen IV Wellness, we are committed to doing our part in helping our clients and our community in battling COVID-19 and its debilitating symptoms. One of the ways that we have seen significant improvement in our client’s that have been diagnosed with COVID-19 is the Regeneron Monoclonal Antibody Infusion. Learn more about it by reading some of the most frequently asked questions that we have received regarding this treatment. How does Regeneron Monoclonal Antibody Infusion work? The moment a person becomes infected with COVID-19, our bodies begin to produce antibodies to fight back the infection. Unfortunately, your body’s response and production of these antibodies takes time to produce enough to beat back the infection. Regeneron’s antibody treatment helps your body at the very beginning to produce a great number of antibodies that will reduce symptoms and lower the risk of hospitalization and death by an average of 70 percent. A Regeneron study also showed 72 percent protection against symptomatic infection in the first week, and 93 percent protection in subsequent weeks. Among the people who did have symptoms, those on the treatment cleared the virus faster and had a shorter time being sick. Can most patients tolerate antibody treatment? Monoclonal antibodies are already used to fight many cancers and autoimmune diseases and are generally well-tolerated by patients. Most doctors believe that Regeneron’s cocktail and its impact on clients is similar to other antibody treatments that have been used for many years. This treatment is recommended for non-hospitalized adults and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older that have tested positive for COVID-19, are at high-risk of developing a severe form of the disease and are within 10 days of developing symptoms. While this breakthrough in COVID-19 treatment is great for many patients, it is not recommended for those who are already hospitalized or are requiring oxygen. Has the FDA weighed-in on Regeneron? In November 2020, the FDA granted emergency use authorization for providers to use the antibody treatment for their clients. In August 2021, the FDA expanded Regeneron’s Monoclonal Antibody Infusion to include post-exposure prophylaxis. This means those that have been exposed to COVID-19 and are at high-risk of becoming positive and developing severe symptoms can now receive this treatment as a means of prevention. Is Regeneron’s Antibody Infusion a substitute for the vaccine? While Regeneron’s Antibody Infusion is a great medical breakthrough for counteracting COVID-19 symptoms, the FDA does not advise people to use this treatment as a vaccine substitute. The agency still urges everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated.
Get on the road to recovery quickly by scheduling an appointment for your monoclonal antibody infusion today. Don't qualify for the monoclonal antibody infusion, or it's not a right fit?
